kind reader dorothy alerted me to the fact that kemado band diamond nights has posted a brand-new video on their freshtastic website. it's full of hipster booty and football helmets. yum.

in other local band news, i hear that favourite sons (featuring members of aspera) have signed with vice records, although i can't find any evidence of it anywhere. i saw them open for american analog set last week (post to come, um, soon?) and thought they were way better than the last time i saw them. upbeat, strokes-ish indie rock. good for them!
