First Dodgeball @ Volume
Come watch these 24 teams battle it out in an all-out barrage of dodgeball madness. This all day tournament will culminate in the final match at 7:00- at which point one team will be crowned the First Dodgeball Tournament champion. It will be a day of BBQ, cold beer, and throwing balls really hard at other people.

the weather was so awesome this weekend. granted i slept all day and barely saw any of it, but it was nice to know it was out there. i love summer. friday night i went to a rooftop party on orchard street, with...

nyu represent! we look way drunker in these photos than we were in real life. i think. but then again we also thought we weren't drunk the next night and we ended up losing two cell phones, a credit card and an unlimited metrocard (ouch), so go figure.

and then we went to black and white and raged for the rest of the night. i got too drunk to take pictures though. i'm lucky i didn't lose my camera altogether. anyway....saturday was birthday central. first we went to angie's birthday dinner at radio perfecto. the truth about me is that i totally don't know how to use my camera so sometimes when i take pictures they come out all artsy-like, like this one of debra and best friend jesse:

we waited forever and finally got seated in the garden, at which point it started DOWNPOURING and we had to go inside. our waiter was the biggest prick. i wish i'd taken his picture. here's the birthday girl after she blew out the candles on her cupcake.

after dinner we all ran in the rain to odessa, where we merged parties because it was andrew's birthday as well. i brought him a cupcake too. cupcakes for everyone! la

after that i braved the elements and went all the way out to the navy yards in brooklyn for j fever's birthday party. ed note: don't call your party a bbq unless there's gonna be food. it just isn't fair to your friends who live off free party-food. for real. anyway, the night was mostly over when i got there but i arrived in time to see j drink beer from the ice luge. so frat party.

and then it was snooze city. awesomeness. now it's monday and i get to go to this kickass event FOR FREE! about once every million years i think i'm actually lucky to work at new york magazine.
