it's been awhile since i reviewed anything or posted any of my signature crappy photos. today is an easy day so i thought i'd try to post some of the best of the worst, starting with my trip to dc last weekend. i think this first photo says it all (i took it in the bathroom at the black cat, which is their answer to pianos):
that's right. it says "You're face is a used tampon." how precious. anyway, beyond that, dc was pretty tame. we saw a lot of big white buildings. . .
and i posed next to a giant wrinkled prostitute vagina.
the best thing i saw all weekend though, was this herd of segway riders crossing the street. fresh!
i came back to the city just in time for the blue sparks show with their new bassist. . .mike from the realistics!
before i knew it, it was halloween. as planned, my friends and friends of friends went to shout as the revenge of the nerds posse. unfortunately, i failed to get pictures of booger, coach harris or any of the jocks and cheerleaders, so you're only getting half the story. that's hidy the sexy construction worker on the right.
jo divestar met up with us, dressed as a fucked up witch. that's hanuk as takashi kissing our very own lamar.
this guy was dressed as lloyd dobbler, which ruled.
we had *no* idea what this guy was dressed up as. neither did he.
anyway, julia stiles was there, dressed up as a bride or something, but by the time i was drunk enough to run around the club and try to harass her into posing for a picture with me, she had already left. sadness! i did get this shot of emily from metric and broken social scene though. that's jo on the left (damn zoom button).
as for the coming week, tomorrow my rent is due and there is also a big URB party at joe's pub. . .
it's also open bar at lit:
