no fun! anyway, i just realized that the thermals are playing the knitting factory on march 22nd, and i'm totally going. if you haven't heard anything by them, go here and download 'no culture icons'. it rules.

in other news, the go! team's shows at the mercury lounge and southpaw are both sold out, but they're also playing a thus far unannounced show on 3/23. . .more on that later.

oh, and remember the thing i posted last week about the somerville gates? here's an awesome followup article. it reads like a story from the onion...except that it's real.
