perhaps you remember a party i wrote about while reviewing sxsw, day 2?
well, judging by the overwhelming response i've gotten, i feel compelled to amend my previous statements. apparently i arrived at the party during the brief window after all the kickass bands had played and before the all-night dance party had commenced in the living room. apparently, it was the best party of the weekend. and apparently you needed neither cocaine nor bush-frolicking to have a good time. oh yeah, and apparently i'm "sooooooo boring". although that comment wasn't in relation to the sxsw post.
ben brown, as i did say in my post, your house is RIDICULOUSLY awesome and you'll have to show me how it's done next time i'm in austin. deal? i'd offer to do the same if you're ever in new york but i live in a little hovel on the lower east side and aside from the days when i put on my bikini and dance around on my fire escape, it's generally kind of boring around here.
thus, i party. tonight i suppose everyone will be at the annie show at tribeca grand. say hello if you see me. if you want to pre-party, there's this little jam at serena:
"Thursday, April 14, 2005 from 8 to 11pm

at Serena Bar (underneath the Chelsea Hotel)
222 W. 23rd Street (www.serenanyc.com)
