fox has officially signed on for one more season of arrested development. phew. wipes brow.
check out the pop-up ad i saw today. what do you think mischa barton felt like when they were taking this picture? do you think she was like 'dear god, first they make me act like od'ing on painkillers is a big deal and now this?' or was it more like, 'guitars are cool! i wonder what this string does.' i think the latter. nice keds.
and then, this gem. do you really think the mta has a problem with new yorkers clinging to the sides of subway cars? i mean, have you EVER seen anything like this in your life? either way, there's something really funny about the fact that the catchphrase is "get in the train—not on it."
oh, and cbgb's going on tour.
I love to recite the MTA line, "Live on the Edge. Just not the Platform Edge."
Classic.

OMG. I'm writing an article about MTA copywriting (in my head). It's insane! My favorite is the same pic with the line: "Surf the web. Not the subway." Also, the Stalinesque pics of garbage cans that say "Every litter bit counts." While completely incongruous it is kind of funny.
