M.I.A. at sob's. . .

my manicmess stringer hidy reports that the m.i.a. show was indeed off the hook last night. and apparently (in addition to david byrne and not-really-a-celebrity aziz ansari) matt damon was there! AND, in what will surely go down in history as one of hidy's favorite stories ever, M.I.A. spontaneously hugged her after the show, an action that hidy surmises has something to do with her having shouted out her sympathy after M.I.A. confessed to the crowd that she'd recently had food poisoning. true story.

i totally just bought tickets to go see antony and the johnsons in july. so psyched!
